In keeping with his experimental nature and love of variety, Mo has explored many other avenues of interest.
For nearly 30 years, Mo was a voice actor with credits in nearly every genre of voice-overs: advertising, narration, games, explainer videos, e-learning, animation, audio books, training, museum installations, medical reads, telephony, and live performance. From 2011 to 2018 he was the underwriting announcer for 89.7 WGBH public radio in Boston, and he spent a year as the host of the Boston Sunday Brunch on classical station 99.5 WCRB. Mo also had a long career in graphic design, a skill he has since drawn upon (no pun intended) for the realization of his other interests. He worked primarily in print, creating posters, advertisments, brochures, logos, menus, catalogs, mailers, newsletters, and a book. From 2002–03 he established the visual identity and launched a magazine for national nonprofit Resolve (an experience which helped in doing the same for The Technoskeptic magazine).
In addition, Mo has a diploma in carpentry from The North Bennet Street School, the oldest trade school in the nation.
